MACHINE WEFT HAIR-

The most common kind of weft hair is the machine weft hair. The hair is sewed on a special sewing machine, creating a string like weft of hair that is sturdy and strong. The hair is sewn once and then folded over and sewn again to keep the hair from sliding out of the seam. This weft is suitable for most people, except people with very thin hair who wish to integrate their own hair into the weave. The pros of this hair are that it is usually quite strong and have a quality. This kind of weft can be cut without a problem or without the need to seal the end of the weft. These wefts are most often attached by cornrow braiding, the hair close to the scalp and then weft is sewn in them. They can also be glued in, using special keratin glue that is minimally damaging to the natural hair and it is removed with oil or solvent.

HAND TIED WEFT HAIR-

In this type of weft, the small strands of hair are woven into a few strands of fishing line. It is the most expensive weft, and can’t be cut at the end. The pros of these wefts are, that they are much thinner, more seamless and are less likely to shed. They are made to the specific length needed. The method to apply them is sewing in.

SKIN WEFT HAIR-

Skin weft hair is the new extension weft in the market. The hair is attached together by a polyurethane tape that looks like one’s skin. These extension needs to be installed with a special adhesive tape. The major drawback of this type of weft is that it doesn’t last long, maximum for a week.

WHAT IS HAIR EXTENSION WEFT THICKNESS? -

All type of hair extension wefts provides different amounts of hair and thickness. Based on these criteria the three types are single weft and double weft style I and double weft style II. The basic difference between them is thickness. Let’s discuss them one by one.

Single weft -single weft, the weft line is very thin, so it is very lissome. The main problem with this is that the weft line is too long; it depends on the hair length. Normally the weft is 2m long or more than that. If you have medium to thick hair a single weft will give your hair that extra body and volume.

Double weft  -In this weft, two lines of single weft are sewn together, so the weft becomes very thick. The weft is half of the single weft in length, 1m or little more. The problem with this weft is that the weft line is too thick and hard. If you have thin hair then double weft - the style I am a perfect match for you.
